From Winter Park, CO, drive south on US Highway 40 approximately one mile to County Road 80 (Forest Road 149) and turn left. Drive 11 miles to the Rifle Sight train trestle. The trailhead is on the right.
HIKING
High elevation minor trailhead located in the James Peak Protection Area. Trailhead is located next to the Rifle-sight Trestle on the historic Moffat Railroad. There is parking for 3 or 4 vehicles.
