Whether you’re a hiker, camper, or just like to drive through the mountains, you’ll find your niche in the beauty of the Henrys. You can drive the Bull Creek Pass backcountry Byway and see rock layers tilt dramatically in the Waterpocker Fold or view the Pink Cliffs.

The range is one of the few places in the country where a bison herd roams freely, but even if you don’t see a bison, you’ll be satisfied with the fantastic geological features and vistas.

You can camp in the Henrys at any of the three campgrounds or spend the day picnicking at Dandelion Flats.

Activities include backcountry touring, hiking, camping. The Henry Mountains Field Station maintains small developed campgrounds at Lonesome Beaver, McMillan Springs, and Starr Springs. The campgrounds have pit toilets, picnic tables, fire grills, parking spaces, and water.
