Olallie Lake Day Use/Picnic Site, Oregon Hiking Trail Information

Directions

From Estacada, OR – drive south on Highway 224 for 45 miles. The road becomes Forest Service Road 46. From Road 46, turn east onto Forest Service Road 4690 and drive 6 miles on pavement, then about 3 miles on gravel, to a junction with Forest Road 4220. Turn south and continue 4 miles to Olallie Lake Resort.  The roads are closed in the winter.

Olallie Lake Day Use/Picnic Site

Olallie Lake Day Use Area with its stunning views of Olallie Lake and Mt. Jefferson in the background, is located adjacent to the Olallie Lake Resort.  It is popular for picnicking, fishing and non-motorized boating. The Pacific Crest Trail travels through the day use area.
