Glencliff / Hurricane Trailhead
This trailhead serves the Glencliff and Hurricane Trail. The trailhead is on the eastern side of the road just past a sign for the Glencliff trail (Appalachian Trail). From the trailhead you can either walk downhill on High St. to the Glencliff Trail or take the access trail provided behind gate at the end of the parking area to join the Glencliff Trail. There is an informational kiosk provided here but there are no other amenities. From here the Glencliff Trail gains the bald popular summit of Mt. Moosilauke in 3.9 miles. The Hurricane Trail ascends Hurricane Mountain and then descends to join the Moosilauke Carriage Rd. in 2.0 miles.
