Directions Lost Lake rustic cabins are located about 100 yards South of the Lost Lake Campground off of Forest Service Road 2156! From Florence, take Highway 70 for about 20 miles and take a righ onto Forest Service Road 2450, go about 1 mile and continue straight onto Forest Service Road 2156 towards Chipmunk Rapids Campground about three miles, you will have crossed a bridge over the Pine River, drive by the Chipmunk Rapids Campground on your left, go about 1 mile and go past the Lost Lake Campground on your left. Go about 100 yards and take a left into the Driveway to the Lost Lake Cabins. You have been driving on blacktop and if you hit gravel you went too far. Address is 4450 Chipmunk Rapids Road. Lost Lake is one hour east of Eagle River via State Highway 70 or one hour west of Iron Mountain, Michigan

SUMMIT RIDGE LOOKOUT CABIN, South Dakota Campground Images, Info & Reservations

Directions Entrance into the cabin is by combination lock. Prior to your arrival please contact the Hell Canyon Ranger District, Monday – Friday between 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Mountain Time, at 605-673-9200 to obtain the combination. From Newcastle, Wyoming, travel east on US Highway 16 for approximately 9 miles to Forest Service Road 117, Boles Canyon Road. Go North on Boles Canyon Road for approximately 12 miles and turn left on Forest Service Road 265, Summit Road. Follow Summit Road for approximately three miles to the Summit Ridge Cabin which is on the left. Note that Boles Canyon Road and Summit Road do not receive any maintenance during winter months, including snow plowing. (Latitude, Longitude( (NAD83) N-20.7689599 W-156.2430039 Directions to the Summit Area (mountain and crater): There are brown information signs along the way. From Kahului, take Hana Highway (SR36) and travel 2.0 miles (toward Hana). Turn right onto Haleakala Highway (SR37) and travel for 7.8 miles. Turn left onto State Highway 377 and travel for 6 miles. Turn left onto Crater Road (large brown wooden Haleakala NP sign mounted in median) and travel for 1.2 miles. Continue on Crater Road for 9.9 miles to arrive at the park boundary/Entrance Station. The Summit (elevation 10,023ft 3055m) is 11 miles, about an additional 30-minute drive, beyond the Entrance Station.
