Directions
From Bend, OR: Travel south on Highway 97 for 26 miles. Take the Wickiup Junction and turn right onto Burgess Road (County Road 43) and travel for 10 miles, then turn left onto Forest Road 42 for approximately 5 miles. Then turn left onto Forest Road 4260 for one mile and then the entrance will be on your right.

Wickiup Reservoir covers an area on the Deschutes River which was known as the Wickiup's. Wickiup Reservoir is very rich, highly productive, relatively warm water and cooler deep channels generate some of the finest fishing in Central Oregon.
This is a primitive boat ramp in the Sheep Bridge Campground. Later in the season the ramp is not usable as water levels are too low.
There is also limited parking for pick-ups and trailers at this site.
