Popular with summer and winter park visitors alike, this area offers year-round opportunities.Enjoy the swimming beaches, boating, fishing, picnicking, hiking and canoeing during the summer. The swimming beaches are located at Streeter Beach in Sturbridge, Massachusetts (Managed by the Department of Environmental Management) and Lake Siog (often called Holland Pond)in Hollnad Massachusetts. Boat ramps to East Brimfield Lake for power and non powered boats are located in the Towns of Brimfield and Sturbridge. A canoe launch and smaller boat ramp are located on Lake Siog, these lead to the scenic Quinebaug River a flatwater canoe trip leading to East Brimfield Lake. Ice fishing is especially popular during the winter months at the conservation pool and at Lake Siog, a natural lake within the project. For up-to-date information, call (508) 347-3705.
