Directions
From Ten Sleep, take Hwy 16 east for about 17.5 miles to Forest System Road (FSR) 27. Turn left at sign onto FSR 27, cross the bridge and go another 1.1 miles to a “Y” intersection. Bear right and continue on FSR 27 for another 6.3 miles. Trailhead is on the right at the end of the road.

West Tensleep Trailhead provides access to Middle Tensleep Trail – #065 and Misty Moon Trail – #063 which access Cloud Peak Wilderness.
This is one of the most heavily used trailheads on the forest. There are facilities and a large parking area.
